About Dr Liz Robin

Dr Liz Robin is Director of Public Health for Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council, and a co-opted member of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Governing Body.

 

She leads a public health team which provides specialist public health advice to both Councils and to local NHS organisations. She is also responsible for commissioning local public health programmes such as smoking cessation services, weight management services, sexual health and contraception clinics and health promotion campaigns.

ABOUT THE HUB

What has become the HemingfordHub was first proposed in 2017 as a test case for how lonely or isolated people in the village could be supported by the community care sector and NHS. The Hub was recognised as a community group and received funding in November 2019. Just as the team was preparing to launch the Hub, Covid-19 happened..
