Dear Hemingfords,
This donate page was originally to raise funds for an iPad, but we're now hopeful this may be coming from a grant we've just applied for....
However, the fact remains that our Hemingford Hub is rapidly running out of funds.
Back in August 2019 we raised just under £2,400 to get us started with training, DBS checks, leaflets, website, posters and lots of running around before lockdown.
Now we need to replenish the coffers so we can continue to support our 110+ active volunteers and all those residents who have to stay locked down.
We’re really thankful for all the volunteers who run errands like shopping, collection of medicines, dog-walking and phone calling. We couldn’t do all this without you.
Please could you make a contribution, no matter how small, to help pay for things such as:
Hand sanitiser gel and disposable gloves for our volunteers
To help pay for ID badges and lanyards for our volunteers
To pay for additional insurance
Print costs of leaflets and posters
A weekly nutritious meal for our isolated, elderly ‘at risk’ residents
Some new communication kit to keep our elderly residents in touch with their families.
Thank you very much in advance for any support you can give.
