Abbots-based catering service serving delicious food and free delivery!

Message from Helen & Danny Mountain of Mountain Catering:

What a strange world we have found ourselves in!

Whilst we all are trying to keep to the new phenomenon of ‘social distancing’ and staying at home, we would like to offer freshly home cooked meals, safely delivered to your doorstep and ready to heat and serve or freeze for later. Special diets catered for.

We will offer traditional favourites packed in single or 2 person trays with deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays. – you just let us know what you fancy and we will do the rest.

It’s a new service and we are in this together so if you have any ideas of dishes you would like us to make please let us know.

Please ring or email with any orders or questions and we will be happy to help.

If you can pay by bank transfer that will be great, but cash or cheque welcome too

Thank you

Helen and Danny Mountain

What has become the HemingfordHub was first proposed in 2017 as a test case for how lonely or isolated people in the village could be supported by the community care sector and NHS. The Hub was recognised as a community group and received funding in November 2019. Just as the team was preparing to launch the Hub, Covid-19 happened..

As well as committee members, we now have more than 100 volunteers supporting both villages. If you would like to join them to help during the Covid-19 pandemic or in other ways, please get in touch.
